A new year with anewed beginnings! MDF is back year with a unique twist, a trio-round!

Notes and Such - Jan 25, 09
For those who are returning from last year, we will need confirmation that you are the original creator of the country name you wish to reuse either by seeing it on your site or having it emailed to MDF. We had to clean out our inbox from last year since it wouldn't have enough room for this year's messages and attachments.
On a smaller note, if we see any more criticizing on the tagboard about anyone's choice of base/entry/country or anything, they will be furthermore banned. It's highly rude and will not be tolerated.
Thirdly, just a reminder from last year that we don't want to see entries in a 'sea of transparency'. Please keep your entries trimmed of excess blank space and if you don't know how or can't do it you can always ask nicely for someone or a judge to do it for you.
Nudity this year will be allowed as long as it is kept in an artistic and tasteful manner but please keep it as minimal and natural as possible. (Meaning as cultural but not flaunting.) Nothing that can be rated 'M' will be allowed.
And lastly, names derived from published works that are no longer closely similar to the original, such as Shamballa (Published) and Swayambhalaa, may be used. Names that still closely resemble the original such as a letter or two off, such as Pern (Published) and Parn, will not be used.

This year's MDF rules and rounds are much different than the previous years. Please make sure that you read them thoroughly. If you have any questions, feel free to post them on the tagboard.
Country reservations have been changed this year from four climate types to three; Temperate, Hot and Cold. (Temperate being the in-between whether warm or cool.) You may enter up to two entries and no two countries may have the same name. You can reserve your country via email or on the tagboard. It is highly suggested that you use the tagboard though so everyone can see what's already been taken in real time. Don't forget to link your site or email in the tagboard as of a way to contact you.
Due to the amount of pageants going on every year, we have decided to cut down our rounds to two, the Auditions and Entries round. The auditions are like any other audition but the Entries round is quite unique. It is a three in one round, meaning three dolls in one image for one round. The deadline is quite generous so those who make it past the auditions round will not have to worry too much about it.
